PLAN OF THE DAY
Sunday 7 December 1941

DAILY ROUTINE IN PORT EXCEPT: DUTY WATCH SECTION 4, WORK DIVISION 2, DUTY ML NO. 1. MILITARY AND MEDICAL GUARD - U. S. S. ST LOUIS. DUTY HEAD OF DEPT. - Lt Comdr. BUERKLE. 0800 Rig for Church on forecastle. Muster on stations. Confessions in library. Shore Patrol leave ship. 0830 Mass on forecastle. Notes: (a) Annual Material Inspection will be conducted Monday 8 December 1941. Open all voids, fire control tubes, wiring passages under turret handling rooms, and have the lower drawers of desks, transoms and bunks removed. (b) Scrub all divisional laundry bags, inside and outside. (c) Tomorrow December 8, is feast of Immaculate Conception. (d) Movies for Saturday 6 December 1941: "HOLD BACK THE DAWN" with Charles Boyer - Olivia de Havilland Paulette Doddard Mark - 3.9
