In December 2009, computer hardware failure caused me to drop out of Second Life. In mid July 2010, a new computer arrived at our home.
More powerful with a high end video card. Tried Second Life again and this time NO Failures.
All my second Life files were intact. I decided to resume the quest for "My Dream".
To again walk the decks of the USS Helena CA-75. (Well almost)

Your editor first heard about Second Life three years ago.
I soon learned that in SL, ANYTHING is possible!
As I visited many SL places, a dream formed in my mind.
Would it be great to once again walk the decks of the USS Helena CA-75, in Second Life!
Some, perhaps many would say this is pure fantasy. A waste of time etc. Perhaps these folks are correct.
On the other hand, many of you have had experience
playing computer games.
Most certainly your kids and grand kids have. Some may already have been in SL.
SL is not a game! Many folks make a real living while working in SL.
SL is not a place that you can visit like other web page.
To experience
SL, you must join.
It is FREE!!
