21 Gun Salute
A memorial at the National Cemetery on Memorial Day.
(Listen to Taps and a Gun Salute, click on the picture above.)

This is a wounded warrior from Iraq.
He came up to me wanted to shake my hand and thank me for my service.
What an honor, here this man had half his face blown off,
left leg riddled with shrapnel, one arm almost paralyzed,
and he wanted to thank me, that is fortitude from any man.

The above picture was taken during a wounded warrior bike ride from camp Lajune to SC state line.
We provided an honor guard for them along with a dinner at the local VFW to honor these men that gave so much.

One warrior fell off his bike as he tried to stop. What enthusiasm these men had.
It was amazing, to be in the condition they were in and still look at life with a good attitude.

The man that fell from his bike had brain damage from an IED. His coordination is off pretty bad.
He tried to get off his bike and down he went. Glad we were there to catch him from falling to the pavement
