In our strolls along Waikiki we stopped and shopped in the numerous little stores that sold inexpensive, and not so inexpensive, trinkets from the islands.

But more than anything else, Hawaii will always be remembered for its beaches-----swimming, surfing, or just watching the water surge over the sand.
