Steaming independently from Guam, M.I. to Pearl Harbor, T.H. via Wake Island. Expect to arrive at Wake this morning.

Crew - Undress whites without
- jumpers, white hats.

Carry out AT SEA routine amended as follows:

0000 - Set all ship's clocks ahead one hour to conform to minus 12 Zone time ("M" time).
0600 - Reveille.
0625 - Mess Gear.
0645 - Late Bunks.
0715 - Protestant Devotional Services in the Crew's Lounge.
0723 - Sunrise. Turn off all running lights.
0745 - Officer's Call.
0800 - Turn to.
0830 - Personnel who have not had rectal cultures taken, report to LACEY, HMC in the Sick Bay.

-Stragglers from the first seven deck divisions turn in all special winter clothing (See Note #1).
1000 - S-1 & S-2 division personnel turn in all special winter clothing (See Note 1)
1045 - (about) Flight Quarters. Prepare to launch helicopter for personnel transfer,
1100 - (about) Arrive Wake Island. Lie to for helicopter transfer of personnel.
1125 - Mess Gear.
1300 - Turn to. Fox division personnel turn in all winter clothing (See Note 1).
- (about) Depart Wake Island for Pearl Harbor.
1650 - Evening Prayers.
1655 - Mess Gear.
1800 - First Movie in #5 Mess Hall.
1801 - Sunset. Turn on running lights.
1915 - Eight O'clock reports. Second movie in #1 Mess Hall.
2000 - Third movie in #5 Mess Hall. Movie in the Wardroom.
2130 - Catholic Rosary Service in the Crew's Lounge (See Note 4).

NOTES
1. Division officers concerned are directed to have all men possessing items of
special winter clothing report to BARNES, SK2 in the hanger deck at the times noted.
All special clothing must be turned in.

2 Yesterday, the consumption of fresh water was in excess of allowable limits.
All hands are cautioned to CONSERVE FRESH WATER.
