The cloth of the WWII medal measures 1 3/8 inches wide by 2 inches high.
The cloth of todays medal measures 1 3/8 inches wide by 1 1/2 inches high.
Measurements taken from the two US Navy Good Conduct medals issued to me.
The first was issued to me on January 29, 1955. It was the WWII style medal. Click HERE!
This was the only medal I was issued until I applied for my other awards and medals in 1991.
I told the Navy that I had my issued Navy Good Conduct Medal, they sent me another one.
This was the Navy Good Conduct that is still issued today. Signed----Dave Brouchoud
