We would have a few glasses of wine, tell some sea stories and just have some great fellowship.
These pictures that Gene took are significant to our mini-reunion because this was our every evening ritual in Gene's room.
Gene and Bob were on the same floor so we could borrow some of Bob's chairs to use.
Allen was on the 17th floor in the "Crows Nest" as the lookout shipmate.
The ladies told us that quite a few of the sea stories were told before and that they had heard them quite a few times. (-:).
I guess that we enjoyed those times so much we always have to tell them over again.
After all, it's the good ones that stay in our mind.
