As you sit down to Christmas dinner
today, look around. Perhaps a little
Japanese boy or girl is seated at your
table. The dark eyes may be serious, but
you know that they can sparkle with laughter.
And get those chopsticks.

Christmas is probably a strange festival
to these children. Do you think you
can explain it to them? The language barrier
may stop you here! They can see Santa Claus
the Christmas Tree - they hear
"Jingle Bells" and " Silent Night".
What a mixture christmas is--but most of it is good.

Christmas to them will also be their
experience on board the HELENA. They've
had their presents - the've seen the
movie - now its dinner and then home.
Be sure you smile and speak to that little
boy or girl. Remember - you are Christmas to them.
