NOTES:
1. All major sales firms dealing with the Armed Forces have set up a display of merchandise in building A-33 of the supply depot. This merchandise includes all the popular items sold on board last cruise plus many other desirable items of all types. Items are not for sale at this location but merely on display. To obtain any desired item make a note of the stock number, the item description, the company handling the item and the unit price. No items can be ordered without this complete information. Place all orders with SCHERMERHORN, SH3, in the Supply Office any morning from 0800 to 1100. All items must be paid for on the payday following receipt on board of the material. All hands are advised that the price at the display are wholesale prices to the military market and it is sincerely believed that none of the items can be obtained cheaper at any other place. The Ship's Store is required to mark up all items but in no case will it exceed 5% and in most cases it will be about 2%. Delivery of all items can be accomplished prior to 15 October if it is so desired, otherwise delivery will be made upon the ship's return to Yokosuka in late November. At present it is not planned to carry foreign merchandise in stock.

2. Church service will be conducted Sunday as follows:

0800 - Catholic Mass on the USS TOLEDO.
0900 - Protestant Church Services in #5 Mess Hall.
