GENERAL SITUATION

Underway in company with TG 52.8, in vicinity of San Clemente Island. Attack by simulated enemy aircraft and submarines is expected. AA firing at towed sleeve will be conducted in the afternoon, an ASW transit problem in late afternoon, and tactics at night. Task group will remain underway throughout the night.
UNIFORM
Officer's & CPO's - Khaki working uniform without ties.
Crew - Dungree trousers, chambray shirts,
and white hates. Foul weather clothing
as necessary.
MOVIE
"Yellow Cab Man" with
Gloria De Haven and
Red Skelton.

Carry out AT SEA routine amended as follows:

0531 - Sunrise. Light ship.
0600 - Reveille.
0625 - Mess Gear.
0645 - Late Bunks.
0730 - Muster on stations.

-Flight Quarters.
0745 - Be prepared to launch helicopter for ASW search on 10 minutes notice.
0800 - Turn to.
-School Call - Conduct classes in accordance with Weekly Training Schedule.
-Flight Quarters.
1310 - Air Defense for AA firing at towed sleeve targets (Baker & Uncle runs).
1315 - Be prepared to launch helicopter on ten minutes notice.
1330 - Conduct AA sleeve firing exercise.
1530 - Secure from Air Defense.
-Sweep and clamp down all weather decks.
-Recover the helicopter.
1630 - Flight Quarters.
1655 - Mess Gear.
-Be prepared to launch helicopter for ASW search until dark.
1700 - Conduct ASW transit exercise for destroyer training in preventing submarine
-attacks on the task force formation.
1750 - Prepare to darken ship.
1800 - First Movie in #5 Mess Hall.
1820 - Sunset. Darken ship or turn on running lights as signaled.
1830 - (About) Recover the helicopter.
1850 - Dump all non-burable trash and non-grindable garbage. Pump bilges.
1900 - Second Movie in #1 Mess Hall.
1915 - Eight O'clock Reports.
2000 - Third Movie in #5 Mess Hall. Movies in the Wardroom.
-Bible Study Class meets in Space Baker. Subject for discussion: "Three Who Found God".
2100 - Secure from ASW transit exercise.
2115 - Commence night tactical exercise for the task group as directed.
2230 - Secure from tactical drill.

1. The following inter-divisonal transfers are effective this date:

2. A brief Holy Week Service will be held at 1230 today and tomorrow in the Library.
