Central Pacific
The 25th Infantry Division (25thID) was formed October 1, 1941 at Schofield Barracks, Territory of Hawaii.
The 25thID encountered its first enemy as a newly formed division when Japanese forces attacked Oahu In November 1942 the 25thID was ordered to action in the Solomon Islands.
The division earned its nickname 'Tropic Lightning' as a result of superior performance in the Solomons.

The pictures of the tank were taken across the round-about from the museum and some of the C-QUAD
This quad was built in 1916 and had the traditional layout of rows of bunks and multi-person bathrooms.
As with Building 1102 at Hickam AFB, the historical aspect of the exterior has been maintained but
