Foul Weather Gear
The foul weather gear show below was given to me by an old chief, a long time ago.
For many years I kept it in the trunk of my car, in case of a break down and stranded in a snow storm.
Now stored in a closet, on hangers, where I can display and brag about.it
The pants are flannel lined with four outside pockets, two in front and two in back. The coat has two large pockets on the front outside, but no pockets on the inside.
When worn, they are chest high and use suspenders.
At the base of each pant bottom, there is an adjustment strap
which permits the wearer to snug the pant leg up tight.
No Velcro back then.
This label is on the pants
It is fleece lined and has a hood with a draw string to snug it tight.
It has a two way zipper and large buttons. Two of the original olive drab buttons are missing.
replaced them with brown buttons which match nicely.
