For the first time the ship has a girl she can call her own. She is Miss Athalie Hart, winner of the first annual Dream Girl contest. Miss Hart, 21, was entered in the contest by her boy friend, R. J. Bischoff, Jr., OS Division. She lives at Ponchatoula, Louisiana, and is employed as a secretary.

Princesses of the Dream Girl Court are Miss Shirley Copelin and Miss Trudy Ramsey. Miss Copelin was entered as the girl friend of William Kumbalek, OR Division. From Hammond, Indiana, she is 18 years old and a senior in high school. Miss Ramsey, 17, is also a high school senior. She was entered in the contest by her fiancé, Clyde Stone, 7th Division. Her home town is Harviell. Missouri.
