These beautiful birds are difficult to photograph as they fly away when seeing the slightest movement.

In the following three pictures, see our help for a robin who tried many times to build her nest on a gutter down spout.
Each try was blown away by spring winds. I placed a piece of wood there and it was also blown down.
Finally, I tied the board with string and it stayed in place.

Success! Mother robin raised her babies and now the nest is empty.
