The Australian Flag

"March in Australia" is my title for an untitled poem written by an unknown poet.
From my conversations with Ski Biernacki and Joe Desch, this poem pretty well tells
of the story of when the Helena was in Sydney Australia for three weeks in March 1943.

Ski Biernacki and Joe Desch both served on the USS Helena (CL-50).
